Dr. Holladay, MD was accepted in the first on-campus class of 32 members at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He received his Doctorate of Medicine, followed by a year of research developing instrumentation for measuring the electrical charge of the eye. He then began his residency in ophthalmology at Hermann Hospital, the teaching hospital for The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
